Our gas delivery came this morning so we now have a full gas tank. Jim will try and get it topped off in November, but historically speaking, this fill up would be enough to last us through next winter.
Jim put the strengthening corners on the top drawer today...
Jim had to get his head around all the upcoming steps for installing the hardware for the barn door. Taking some measurements...
Figuring out placement for the top rail...
He'll have to take more siding off and he didn't want to start that today and have to leave things open, but he is comfortable with the procedure at this point.
The latch Jim ordered to keep the man door open came today...
Figuring out placement...
Starting to attach the hardware...
Perfect! No more worries about the door flying open when it's windy - plus it looks really cool!
Jim took the front seat out of the 4Runner and then took a load of steel to the nearby recycling center. Once he got home, he did some grass cutting and trimming to end the day.
