We typically keep Christmas decorations up until the Epiphany - so that means today was the day to take them down! That also means that as Mom and I undecorated, Jim took boxes away, and brought up snowmen decorations that will leave things looking less bare.
Yesterday as we were leaving for Saratoga and our errands, we stopped at the new box where we had our first deliveries!
More wood in the gluing stage...
Mid-afternoon, Jim headed to Northern Hardware, another wood source located a bit north of us. He probably prefers the big lumberyard in Ghent, but it's farther away. They carry different wood, but Jim was able to get a piece that he can re-saw to use for the drawer sides/back. Unfortunately, this place only takes cash (what? who uses cash?) so he just bought the one piece he needs to move forward.
