7.13.2022

We ended up being without power for 4 hours yesterday afternoon from the storm that came through but thanks to our generator, life went on!

Jim continues to assemble all the tools he will need to complete the air conditioning project, hopefully without getting anyone else involved.  This is the vacuum pump he will use as part of the testing process...

Yesterday, he picked up the required on/off outdoor switch box as well as the special copper tubing, insulated tape, and other miscellaneous parts...

He also had to get a tank of nitrogen - thankfully, he had a tank he brought from Ohio that he was able to turn in.  After they safety checked it, he swapped it out for this tank so he didn't have to pay the very pricey tank charge as well.

Practicing braising the copper - he's never done this before!  The samples he showed me looked perfect!

He continued working on the back of the pole barn, cutting off the ties from the original side so he can tie the back of the lean to into the posts...
