This was a frustrating day for Jim.  The press was scheduled to come today but we got no good timeframe.  It's not an easy call to the freight company - one time he called, they said it was a 30 minute wait for a representative.  He finally talked to someone who said it would be from noon-4:00.

Jim went out and got the forks on the Bobcat and got it ready to go.   But then it was a whole day waiting. He tried to keep busy in the shop but he was constantly on alert for a call.  He didn't want to be in the middle of something when they called so it was difficult.

He worked on adapting the trim moulding that came with the door for the inside of the pantry room...

As I write this at almost 6:00, Jim just got off another marathon phone call with the freight company.  They hadn't been able to get in touch with the driver and he apparently returned without delivering the press.  What?  How does all that happen?  Jim had planned to spend the weekend working on the 4Runner - now that plan is all blown up.  Plus, he'll have to spend more time ironing all this out.  Sigh...
