We ended up losing grid power yesterday for almost 7 hours - once again, very grateful for our generator!
I spent this morning on the phone talking to people at both Mom's current facility and the one in Saratoga. Unfortunately, the Saratoga facility is closed for admissions this week because both staff and patients are being hit by a stomach virus. I spent the afternoon with Mom, but it was a relatively warm day so I insisted that Jim stay home.
He got so much done - he put up the final 8 roof rafters!
The front and back were difficult - he had to put the end rafter tie in place and then attach the rafters. Once all these rafters are in place, there is no where for Jim to stand to work, especially for the ends, so it's so good that these are all done now!
