1.1.2025

Happy New Year!  Although this past one has had its challenges for us, it was also filled with many blessings, so we will continue to remember those as we start another year.  Hopefully 2025 will be full of good health and happiness for all!

When I took Mom to the urgent care that started her health journey, Jim was working on door moulding in the shop.  He got the jam extensions put on the bathroom door and started putting up the door frame pieces when I called him that we were going to have to head to Albany.  It is going to look so nice!

While I went to visit Mom this afternoon, Jim headed to Lowe's to pick up the wood he needs for the shed roof.  He needed 16' pieces that he will use at the bottom of the rafter ties; it will also serve as the fascia backing board.  It was a good opportunity before any bad weather heads our way.   Still amazing that he can get these huge boards in the 4Runner!

Bringing the wood into the shop...
