Jim did a lot of resaarch into the remote for his shop vacuum system. A new one from Shop Fox was expensive, but he found a company that sold what he thought would be a compatible receiver and remote combination for about half the price. He checked all the wiring schematics and felt confident that it would work. It came in the mail today...
Starting to take the old one apart...
Once he got the new receiver wired into the box, the new remote worked perfectly! Definitely is a big convenience while he's working so he's happy!
