Jim worked in the shop this morning after his computer work - he's putting the glued maple piece through the planer... 

He came upstairs for more measurements while Mom and I were playing dominoes...

The piece cut and gluing...

Jim spent more time working on our temperature sensor outside.  The batteries keep draining after just days.  He's going to contact the company and do some investigating.  He has to trudge through all the snow in the back and get up on a stool to reach it in its little cradle in a tree.  So definitely not something you want to do in single digits, but we do look at the sensor a lot and use it for various purposes, including the blog!
