Jim kept our little stairwell tree in the shop to do some repair work on it - we've had it for decades and while it's got a few issues, it's still pretty perfect. Jim glued the base on as well as one of the branches.
Jim started working on his roof spar today. To save a little money and use some pieces that he had, he welded a couple of small pieces on either end of one piece.

As predicted, the temperatures warmed during the night and the snow turned to rain. Jim was glad he took some of the snow off last evening because some of the gravel is now exposed. Mom and I have to go out tomorrow, so he wanted to make sure the driveway was in good shape. He went out and shoveled all the snow that came down from the roof in front of the garage door and checked things out. Hopefully this is the last of the strange winter weather.
