Those darn turkeys made a royal mess yesterday evening - much worse than before. This morning, Jim went out and raked and swept it all up.
The Bobcat's been doing lots of work lately so time for greasing...
Then Jim went up and brought down buckets of the new gravel - he wanted to build up this side of the driveway in hopes that the water will divert across the driveway rather than down it.
Then we filled up buckets of the gravel and Jim brought them around the back of the pole barn to fill in the top area...
Looks so much better! This will help with water coming off the roof too - and hopefully keep weeds down a bit...
Then Jim put some gravel at the very top to fill in cracks next to the lean to...
Replenishing some of the gravel against the front of the carriage house...
I've always liked this area as well...
Then Jim put a layer along the side of the house - some of the end rocks have settled and we'll put more rocks on top of the gravel to fill it back up...
Filling up a pail with the last of the gravel in the bucket...
Putting some behind the air conditioning compressor...
Jim used the rest of his time to do some trimming before coming in and getting ready for church.
