Jim continued working on the doors today - he has the basic slabs done.  He will now need to size them and do all the millwork but just seeing the wood laid out like this makes me happy.  He's using the same design that he used when he made all the doors in Ohio, which I loved.

Jim lightly sanded the window frame pieces...

...and then put the final coat of polyurethane on them.

In the afternoon, it was back to lawn work.  Jim brought the chipper up the hill to the pile of branches that have been there for quite awhile.

The best news is that the chipper worked great today - no issues at all!  So the extra cleaning Jim did maybe did the trick.

This area is all clean now...

Then he started heading down the side of the woods to clean up the piles of small trees and brush that we had cut...

Using the pitchfork to distribute some of the chippings...

Jim could tell that the blades were getting dull, so we stopped and he turned the blades around...

Then we were back in business...

We got the upper edge all cleaned out so that was a good afternoon's work.  Jim cleaned off the chipper...

Then brought it back inside.  So happy that it's working well!

Jim was cutting up a remaining pallet to put in the trash when it started raining.  We were glad it was so nice while we were working.
