This morning, Jim put a coat of polyurethane on the window frames...

Then he pretty much spent the rest of the day working on machines!  He wanted to see if he could get the box truck started but the batteries were dead.  So he first had to use the Bobcat to bring down the generator and get it working.  Then he hooked up his battery charger to the generator and then charged the batteries.  All this took quite awhile but once the batteries were charged, it started right up.  Jim wants to sell it - it certainly has served us well.

Then he got the lawn mower back together and did the first grass cutting of the season!

In the afternoon, it was time to bring the chipper back out.  Unfortunately, after running so well a couple of days ago, it ran a bit choppy today.  But we were able to work and Jim is going to do some investigation into whether he thinks a carburetor will help.

Finishing up the last of the chipping in this area - this was 3 trees worth so there was a lot of branches!  Things look so clean now.

Jim spent a bit of time with the chipper at the end of the day and then we had to move all the machines and vehicles back into their rightful places!
High 60/Low 33 - frost advisory out for tomorrow morning!
