Jim opened up another section of water into the furnace plumbing - this time it went through our Pex buried in the concrete of the stairwell landing area! I got to see the flow rate gauges measure the gallons per minute going through as Jim turned it on to purge the air. Very exciting!
Also exciting is the fact that Jim has the air intake vent for the furnace really taking shape. It's all glued now and goes out through the hole he drilled in the joist...
...and comes up the outside wall. This is just a place holder right now but we'll be ready to get these vents to the outside soon (scary!).
In the afternoon, Jim started painting our laundry room Cashmere Pink! This is hopefully a good pink - definitely not a girlie pink - and should look really good with all our gray tones.
Doing the trim work...
Starting the trim on the sloped wall...
No, Jim didn't decide to tape a nap - he had to lay down on the floor to paint around the dryer vent and the dryer plug!
Rolling on the paint on the last wall...
All done! One wall will be gray so this all should look really nice. Can't wait to see it dry tomorrow!
