Jim worked on furnace plumbing this morning - this time concentrating on the air intake lines.  He got the jog figured out so that everything will fit and all the pieces glued up.  He had to put a piece of wood blocking in between the vent and the steel so that when he puts the next piece on, this pipe section won't move under all that force.

The next section is all ready to go - Jim will glue that on tomorrow.

But big news - we have water going through part of our furnace plumbing for the first time!  Jim took off the air pressure gauge he was using and attached a hose - then he opened one section and ran water through to bleed the air out.  He'll continue to do different sections - so exciting!

Before we could start painting this afternoon, we had to take care of a few messy projects - the first was cutting out the kitchen side of the vent that will allow the refrigerator to breathe.  The laundry room side was already cut.  Jim used his RotoZip while I held the vacuum next to it to suck up as much plaster dust as possible.  We also cut one side of the master bedroom doorframe that needed to be trimmed.

Once those projects were done and cleaned up, it was time to finish up the last section of ceiling trim work in the kitchen.

Then it was on to painting...

Continuing around the corner...

Rolling the paint on...

The kitchen walls are all painted!!

High 75/Low 57 - beautiful!
