Jim worked inside today - he had a lot of cleanup from all the rafter and purlin carving he did in the shop.  Plus, he spent time in the metal shop cleaning up from the car repair and getting ready to do the brake job on my car next.

Once it warmed up a tad, Jim headed outside to continue working on the planking.  He got all the planks done across the ridge...

He struck a chalk line on where he wanted the roof line to end, and cut off all the extras...

Then he continued on putting up the planking...

Looking amazing!  Jim ordered the underlayment last night so it will be here when Jim is ready for that step.
