Jim worked in the morning making the next set of purlins...
He wasn't confident that this long piece would fit - it has multiple angles, bevels and cuts that all have to mate perfectly...
The short piece fit perfectly to start the west side...
And that complicated bottom piece fit perfectly to finish the east side!
I can't get enough of seeing how cool the building looks...
Before he can start putting up planking on the roof, he had to put pegs through the top rafter. First one done...
Drilling the next one...

This is the view from up on top, with the new peg through the ridge, looking down the hip rafter, seeing both the back and side. Such an amazing grouping of complicated joints all coming together!
I took this picture of the sun setting over the mountains - before 4:00 this afternoon!
