There were a few April Fool's Day jokes going on around here!  Hope everyone had a great day!

Jim decided to add a pull-out writing surface to his desk so he started working on that design, adding rails to the sides...

He took the desk apart to better work out all these details...

He also had to make blocking for the drawer glides to attach on the side....

Jim put it all back together and then the two of us got it off the workbench and onto the floor.  Trial run for possibly getting it upstairs!
