My printer has to clear out her shop by the end of the month, so we headed out this afternoon to pick up the cabinets we are getting from her. The shop is still packed with things so getting the cabinet out took some work...
Her son helped Jim get it in the back of the 4Runner...
Unloading at home...
He's moving it into the pole barn right now, because we had to turn around and go back for the other one. This one is extremely nice - very sturdy and deeper than most of Jim's other ones. It's also extremely heavy, plus the shelves are screwed into place, which is nice but you can't offload those to make it lighter.
This other one isn't in as good of shape, so Jim is going to think about whether he wants to keep it or sell it. For now, it's still in the back of the 4Runner because Jim wanted to use his little remaining time to cut some grass.
It was a beautiful day and always a pretty trip along the Hudson River to get to the little town of Hadley. Plus, today is the start of Americade, which is the world's largest motorcycle touring rally which takes place just a bit north in Lake George. We saw lots and lots of motorcyclists heading that way!
