Jim spent most of the day finalizing his drawing package and cost estimate for both the initial build and rebuild of the drop box.  He finally pushed send and it's now in the hands of the gas company rep, so we'll see where it goes from here.  As always, Jim did a meticulous job in preparing the package.

Jim did some measurements for the tile area behind the stove where we want the different tile, so we can get that ordered.  That involved figuring out where we want to make the change in the different tiles.

Jim and I carried the completed steel bench frame up into the workshop, where Jim had the floor covering down and the area prepped...

He started doing all the various cleaning and prepping stages and even tested out the paint color on the front.  There's almost none of this frame that will be visible once it's completed, but it will be protected and will match anyway!
