Jim decided to make a drip edge out of steel to protect the bottom of the drop box.  This is tacked on - he later welded it permanently...

Then he moved his attention to building the wood door panel for the box.  Planing some wood...

Starting to fit and size pieces...

Doing the millwork...

Then Jim cleaned the finished front door frame with lacquer thinner and started painting it...
