It was an absolutely gorgeous day so the afternoon was spent outside. We had decided we wanted to transplant one more tree in our row so we did measurements so it's equally spaced with the others...
Marking the spot...
We bought some tree fertilizer spikes to hopefully give our newly-transplanted trees a boost, so Jim put those in the trees we transplanted over the last couple days...
It's out!
Putting it in the hole...
A little water in the roots...
Filling the hole back in...
Once the tree was planted, Jim brought the Bobcat over and we picked up all the rocks we had accumulated from the holes...
He dumped them in our rock pile...
Our line of trees looks amazing!
We have an appointment on Friday to have the septic tank pumped. Jim wanted to make sure all was well beforehand...
Unfortunately, the filter was all clogged again. It wasn't that long ago that we cleaned it and it was fine. But it was the fall last time that we had an issue - it seems to be clogged with needle or leaf debris. It's a closed system so the only way in would be through the stack on top of the house and that would be bizarre. Jim may have to investigate that, but that would require building scaffolding. We'll see what they say Friday. It's always something.
