Jim has had doctor appointments the last couple days. On Wednesday, he had to go to his primary to get clearance for his upcoming cataract surgery. His doctor was thrilled with his latest bloodwork and EKG, so all was good there.
Our primary physicians are located just a little north of us, and it was fun to see this view of the ski slopes on our way home...
Yesterday, he had his follow-up visit with the surgeon after the hernia surgery. Again, the doctor was happy with his progress. Jim is off even Advil but still experiences soreness, which the doctor said was to be expected with all the work he did inside. The doctor did tell him that he is able to start ramping up activities - including the elliptical - as he can tolerate. Jim is very happy about that!
We decided to celebrate all the good news with dinner at The Local. It was interesting - as we were waiting for a seat, we overhead the family next to us say they were from Cleveland, and we ended up having a conversation with them. They were staying at an AirBnB in town and their host recommended The Local. They stopped at our table on the way out and said they loved their food and the town. Small world for sure.
