Jim has to figure out how best to do the kick board around the heater area, so a few more measurements.
He made a piece that he hoped would work and tried it out...
The other side was different because of the plumbing but he got both sides figured out and the kick board made and primed...
Time to start planning our next project - tile on the stairwell landing! We spent time deciding on placement and pattern...
Jim did some floor prep - getting any raised plaster scraped up and vacuumed away...
We had to do a combination of chalk and ruler/pencil because the chalk didn't stick well to the smooth concrete, but we got the initial placement markings done...
Jim opened up his new tile saw - he'll probably assemble it tomorrow. The plan is to put it outside the stairwell door for easy access.
It's the official end of winter because Jim put insurance back on the Mini! So we need to get it moved out of its winter spot. Using the dollies to try and get it moved...
Once he had it in a good enough position to be able to maneuver it out by driving, he jacked up the car to get the dollies out...
The trickle charger worked great and kept the battery nice and healthy all winter - whew! Time to disconnect that...
Maneuvering it out of its space...
Unfortunately, this means that the 4Runner has to sit outside but Jim sprayed all the dust off the Mini and pulled it back inside the auto bay.
