Guess this sign in our kitchen pretty much says it all! Like a lot of the country right now, we are in the middle of a really deep freeze and will remain that way all next week. Next Saturday is the first day that is forecast to have a low that isn't below zero! Plus the wind is bad so the wind chills are projected to be -40 or -50 at some points.
However, brave souls that we are, we decided to get out of the apartment for a short walk. We made sure to dress for the elements though! When we got home and checked the temperature, it was 1 degree with a wind chill of -19!
