Today was another gorgeous day - even though they had called for some rain. Jim had spent time clearing and leveling the area where the little temporary shed will go. Isn't this a pretty little spot for it? All tucked away in the woods.
I just had to include a few more pictures. Now that spring has sprung in upstate New York, the trees are pretty well leafed out. The bright greens look so pretty with the dark green pines and that crazy blue sky that I never get tired of.
After lunch, Jim and I did rock duty. We are cleaning up the edges from where we piled rocks after digging the trench and it looks so much better. Jim drives the Bobcat over, we load it up with rocks, and then he goes and dumps them.
Then later in the afternoon, we used our newly-licensed and inspected box truck and took a trip into Lowe's to pick up material for the shed. It was nice - Jim has been working with a salesperson at Lowe's and he just emailed her the order and we went and picked it up. It was already on the forklift and they just loaded it up in the back of the truck. This will be our first real hammers and nails building job on site - even if it's temporary, it's exciting!
