In the shop, he had to do one of his least-favorite things - sanding both of the seat backs...
But then it was time to prime...
Mom and I headed out this morning for some errands, including stopping at the tile store to check on our order for the tile that will go behind the stove. They told me that it was backordered until the end of April and then it would have to still be shipped. I brought home another sample, so we'll be pondering that.
We ended the day with cake and ice cream and a wish!

It was a bit of a PTSD moment here this morning. Jim had ordered gas over the weekend and the gas company truck came up the driveway to deliver. Thankfully we now have a full tank and nothing else was damaged!
Then it was a coat of primer on the other sides of all the pieces...
Jim did some work on the 4Runner today. When he bought the tailgate from the junkyard, he really wanted the license plate surround. He had bought new LED lights but first had to take the old lights out. The screws were so old and rusted that it took him an hour to get them out without destroying all the housing. He got the new lights installed, tested them, and got it installed on the 4Runner! So far, he's made over $60 selling rogue pieces from the tailgate too!

It was either because it was April Fool's Day or because of the old adage, March comes in like a lion, out like a lamb, but we had an unusually warm day - got into the low 60s. It will be back in the 30s tomorrow so I'm thinking it's an April Fool's Day prank!
