Jim spent a good chunk of his morning getting his machines cleaned and aligned.  He's been running a lot of pine through the planer and the sap starts building up on the parts.  Once he got that done, he continued working on the door for the attic access.

Front frame all done and glued...

Next job was to paint the front of the man door!  Since he already had it prepped, he just needed to clean it and then get his paint ready.  Time to spray...

Then he sprayed the inside door jamb...

All done...

With the garage door on the pole barn, the door can dry nicely inside.  Of course, after painting comes an hour of cleaning...

Jim has one more piece of trim board to go on the back side of the stairwell, so he put the notch in the back today so it will fit over the siding pieces...

All done...

Putting a coat of primer on...

There were a few places outside that Jim wanted to caulk before final touch up painting...

After that, it was time to work on the cantilever window in the second bedroom.  Taking the jamb extension off...

Taking all the hardware off...

Yikes - taking the window out!

Jim's plywood cover worked great so he can just use it again on this window...

Jim had to completely sand the window - this window opens towards the front of the house so it has seen more sun.  Once he got it all cleaned up, time for staining...

All stained...

High 69/Low 43 - beautiful
