Jim has oatmeal for breakfast most weekday mornings.  This morning, our old microwave, stopped working in the middle of his oatmeal cooking time.  We have had problems with this microwave before - it appears to be a thermal issue.  We are just trying to get it to last until we can install our new, over-the-range microwave.  To try to give it a bit more breathing room, Jim cut some plywood for on top of the dishwasher and put the microwave there.  Hopefully that will keep it alive for awhile!

He also hung up our beautiful clock.  It looks really good above the hutch and nice to have it hung up again.

He also put the deadbolt lock on the apartment door - just for some added security.

He did some more steel work on Shelf B - you can see all the intricate cuts he has to make on these pieces.  Plus, to install these bottom spars, he had to crawl inside the shelf!

Jim put his mechanic's hat on for the rest of the afternoon and put new rotors and brake pads on my front brakes.  Taking them apart...

One side done.

All done and putting the tires back on!  Jim had a few more corrosion issues to deal with on these front brakes so he's glad this job is all done!  We'll take it for a test drive tomorrow morning.

High 82/Low 55 - some periods of light rain - good for our grass seed!
