12.22.2017

Definitely a winter wonderful at Angel today!  The winter storm brought us probably 8" of new snow.  Jim took this picture mid-day before he plowed.  Because of the snow and road conditions, I stayed home today.

Jim worked on the Pex tubing this morning, mounting the other part of the manifold and getting all the Pex lines attached.

Now that the furnace is on the wall, the next step is to figure out the venting.  This furnace uses the air from outside and then vents the exhaust outside.  Because it's such a high efficiency, we can use plastic pipe vented outside.  Jim will have to make a trip for plumbing parts but first he needs to figure out where things will go.

He did some drywall work today - got the electric put back together on the piece we did yesterday and took apart the boxes in the coming pieces.  He got the tops cut off the next two pieces and then brought the first piece over.  We have a good system worked out for both of us to get the piece into place, so hopefully tomorrow we'll get these attached!

Later in the afternoon, Jim went out to plow.  Not real straightforward - he has to first dig the bucket out of all the snow so that he can get it attached to the Bobcat.  It takes him about 1-1/2 hours to plow the driveway, not counting for all the prep and clean up work involved.  Hopefully next year, we'll have a storage barn that will make things easier for him.

Jim did a bit of plastering at the end of the day - pictures to come!
