12.10.2017

Christmas has come to the carriage house!  The little bit of snow on the ground makes it feel more like Christmas too.

Jim worked this morning and finishing the wiring on the other side of the utility room, getting it all wired into the box.  Once that was done, he was able to finish stuffing the rest of the wall!

He did some fiberglass insulation in the woodshop bathroom entrance wall too...

Since this is our short day, we worked in the wood shop in the afternoon.  We first moved all of our 1/2" pieces of drywall further down against the front wall.

Then we marked and cut the next piece of drywall and Jim had to maneuver it into place...

Before the small piece could go up on top, Jim had to stuff the cavities...

Putting up the top piece - not easy with all the plumbing right there!

Then Jim could slide the drywall down in place...

Fastening...

Then we cut and marked the next piece and got it moved over against the wall.  It will be ready for tomorrow.

Jim has to finish wiring in the living room but it's complicated with all the tv equipment.  Plus our space is limited trying to fit all of our furniture in.  So Jim marked the outline of the tv and the entertainment cabinet underneath to see if we could make that work.  We decided it would be great so Jim will be able to start working on box placement and wiring soon.
