2.12.2017

The forecast was definitely spot on today - it started about 10:30 or so and is still snowing.  We probably already have about 8-9" so far.  This winter storm is supposed to last until tomorrow.

It definitely was pretty - although treacherous driving!  Jim headed out after lunch and, thankfully, his 4Runner does a great job of getting through the snow.  I watched from the apartment window today as some man was stuck on our road and couldn't move for a long time.  Someone finally came out and shoveled the street and then pushed him to get moving!  So glad that Jim didn't have any issues like that.

Jim worked on electric work this afternoon.  He got the fan in the second bedroom wired up as well as the switch box for the fan mounted and wired.

This was the view from the upstairs window - the snow was just about to break loose from the auto bay roof!

A snowy look out the front of the carriage house...

Pristine snow...well, except for that little black spot just off center in this picture.  That is actually one of the tops of the posts that Julia pounded in over the summer to mark the edge of the upper driveway!

Jim stopped about 4:00 to work on plowing the driveway - we're getting some crazy snow piles!

High 27/Low 25 - SNOWY!!
