1.7.2021

I had a doctor appointment this morning - the doctor just recently moved her offices into the old Sears store at the mall that they have totally remodeled and are using it for medical offices now.  While we're still sad that Sears isn't around any longer, it's nice that they repurpose stores instead of them sitting empty.  After that, I did drive up pick ups at Target, Lowe's and the wine shop - I think I covered all the bases without even getting out of my car!

Meanwhile, Jim was busy at home - he fit the refuse cabinet together and did final fitting...

Then he did the millwork on the back of the face frame and put it together...

Jim did more rearranging in the metal shop this afternoon and then it was time to bring the Mini over to its winter home!

First step was to jack both sides up slowly until he could get the car dollies underneath...

Then the hard part comes trying to move it into position.  You'd like to think that you could just move it easily but that's the farthest thing from the truth!

But eventually Jim got it where he wanted and even moved the treadmill over next to it.  He has the trickle charger plugged into the Mini - all that's left is putting the cover on.

Jim called the day a tad short and left to go to Home Depot to get the J-channel he needs to finish the drywall around the door area as well as some electric parts.  What's nice is that when he came home, he was able to pull the 4Runner into the auto bay!  All three vehicles are now safely inside.
