Jim still hears periodically from the guy who lives in NYC that helped buy the box truck for his brother-in-law who lives in the Caribbean.  He called Jim yesterday just to let him know that the truck had made its way down to its new home.  He sent Jim some pictures of the truck being loaded onto a flat rack...

Here it is loaded with some other vehicles on its way to the port in Baltimore where it will be shipped.  Paul told Jim that it cost $5,500 to ship it!

And here it is in St Martin's in front of the laundry ready for its next adventure!  They are going to have it painted and put logos on it - Paul said he would send us pictures.  This was such a crazy venture but it seemed to work out for everyone and this guy is so nice - definitely not what we were expecting!  These days, who keeps in touch like that with someone who sold you something?

Today in the shop, Jim continued working on the cabinet doors.  He first got the doors sanded and here he's doing the millwork for the hinges...

Hinge millwork done...

Bringing his tools and the spice cabinet door up for hinge work.

Attaching the hinges to the side - he'll have to attach the hinges to the back later.

 Looks so beautiful!

Working on the hinges for the next cabinet.  Jim had planned for the cabinet door to open to the right so that there would be good access to all the space inside.  However, that leaves the potential to mar the other cabinet with the door handle when it's open.  So he's going to explore other hinge possibilities.

It was a beautiful day so in the afternoon, we headed back outside to continue cutting down the small tree undergrowth and clear out the woods a bit.

Check out the size of the base of this tree that fell over in the winter!

Just working a few days has really made a difference...

Now you just see pine trees!

We feel very blessed to be able to quarantine ourselves on this beautiful property - you can't see another house or person from any point!

This tiny wildflower is the first sign of spring growth that we've seen, although the trees are starting to have buds on them.
