4.13.2020

Today was a rare, all-day rainy day, complete with more strong winds - definitely an inside day!  So Jim brought up my new cabinet doors to install.  First the spice rack door...


Perfect!


Next was one of the upper cabinets...


 And the other...


Wow - what a big difference that makes - they look beautiful!  I keep doing double takes every time I walk in the kitchen now!


He then went back to work on the bedroom door, getting ready to make the mortise cuts on the other rail and top stile...

Doing a bit of clean up by hand...


Then he started getting the panel pieces to the right thickness - these are too wide for him to do on the jointer so he uses a combination of the drum sander...


And the planer to get them exact.


Look how perfect it's looking!
