Jim reset the drill press this morning to cut the last mortise - this one is the center rail...

Starting to glue the pieces together, making the "T" into an "H"...

And glueing up the center rail making a very big "T"!

Sanding the panels...

This is such pretty wood - Jim said you couldn't find clear pine like this in Ohio.

Putting the first coat of primer on the panels...

Mid-afternoon, we decided to go outside.  It was crazy because it rained really hard for almost a day and a half, but there was not even a hint in the yard that it had rained.  No mud, no puddles, no wet ground.  Amazing!

It was back into the woods to cut off branches from the trees we cut down and dragging them up into piles for later chipping...

Cutting up some of the trunk...

Looks so much better already - and we have a little stack of logs started...

At the end of the day, a coat of primer on the other side of the panels...
