Jim had to do some sanding to get ready to put together the rest of the door pieces...

Glueing...

It's officially a door now!

Jim also did final fittings of each of the top window frames.  He cuts them a little bit long and then gradually gets the mitered corners cut to fit.  So this requires a lot of trips up and down the stairs to get each one perfect.  Working in the bedroom...

And the living room...

Once he got each piece perfect, he stained the ends...

It was a gorgeous day, so after lunch we wanted to head outside to chip up some of our piles of tree branches.  After rearranging things and getting the chipper out, the battery was dead so Jim used the 4Runner to jump it.

Then we started on the upper pile - which was enormous.  As is this tree Jim is putting in the chipper!

Wow - look how pretty this area looks now!  All those ugly/dead trees are gone and you can just see into the pine forest.

Once that area was done, we moved to the area we have been working on clearing lately.  We had another really big pile of branches to work on.

Beautiful!

Time to clean up the chipper...

We used up all the gas in the chipper so after all the machines were tucked back inside the pole barn, Jim headed into town to get some gas.

Off to church in the living room!
