11.21.2019

As if we haven't been to the dentist enough this month, today was our semi-annual cleaning and exam for both of us.  It was a gorgeous trip there, however, because the trees along the mountain road were glistening with ice - between the green pine trees, bright blue sky and glistening trees - so pretty!  The roads were a tad slippery though so we definitely were careful.

Afterwards, I ran into Saratoga to do some errands and Jim ate breakfast and then headed to the workshop.  These are the cabinet panels that Jim put a coat of polyurethane on yesterday...

Today he got more panels done - he had to take off the front solid maple portions that he will paint gray...

I picked up more polyurethane at Lowe's when I was out, so this afternoon he was able to get the last panels done.  He'll turn them over and do the other side tomorrow.

He worked on cleaning up the last of my winter wheels this afternoon, cleaning off all the gunk...

Sanding off all the corrosion.  He painted all the hubs with an anti-seize solution as well.  Unfortunately, the tire sale was so good that Sam's Club is booked until the end of December!  We have appointments and will call for cancelations since Jim has the wheels all finished now.
