9.9.2017

Jim was busy this morning cutting tile - he got all the rest figured out and cut for the laundry room...

And then started in the bathroom...

He put some soundproofing in the kitchen walls...

After lunch, he started prepping to do shingle work on the back roof.  He cut more step flashing...

Made some half shingles and "weathered" them...

It's hard to get pictures of this side of the carriage house when the sun is bright out so these pictures are a bit whitewashed!  But Jim got the plank on the next roof jack and started putting up shingles.

There are a lot of cuts with this roof section...I can help Jim with that at least so he doesn't have to make quite as many trips up and down.

Another roof jack put up and Jim is almost to the top!

This side is all shingled!

To get ready for siding, Jim got the house wrap all cut and taped to the flashing.

Then we moved upstairs - we moved the stack of 12' drywall that was standing up next to the wall in the master bedroom and laid it flat.

That way Jim had access to start working on this wall and put up some soundproofing.
