6.9.2016

Not sure if there was any snow in the mountains last night, but it sure was chilly this morning - the heater even kicked on overnight!  Plus, most of the day there was a brisk wind so it felt even colder.  No complaints - definitely better for roof work than 90 degrees!

This morning Jim worked on designing and then soldering together the corner flashing pieces.  This is a different approach than he used on the other side but he thought it might work out better.

The finished product!

Getting ready to install the flashing, so first some caulk...

Putting the flashing in place...

It's really tough to get pictures of the progress Jim is making on shingles - the back side is right in the woods!

Next piece of drip edge is on and Jim is working upward...

End-of-the-day....

Since the ground is still soft from the recent rain, Jim wanted to spend a little time at the end of the day doing more driveway grading.  Pictures to come...
