6.12.2016

No post yesterday because it was a rainy morning. Jim started out the day going to pick up hopefully the last roll of copper for the carriage house. He also picked up this cool copper stack boot that they ordered for him.

He also worked on wiring up more receptacles.

This is a picture of the new light fixtures that Jim got up yesterday.  Of course, it doesn't show all the work he did pulling wire through from the box!

Back up on the roof, Jim is putting up the plywood backing board on the rake.

Priming the 2x8" board for the next layer.

The plywood layer is all done and Jim is fastening it in place...

First piece of 2x8" is in place.

Last piece cut and ends primed...

Jim put an ad on Craig's List last night for the cut-off pieces of plywood that I moved down from the apartment.  He got over a dozen responses!  Of course, he was offering them for free but still.  He spent time this morning moving the pallet down the driveway because the first person he called was supposed to come at 2:00.  But they were a no show - frustrating.  He had to move everything back up.  At least he has a list of people who are interested!

High 61/Low 49 - with wind gusts up to 45 mph so temps felt like low 50s!
