Saturdays are always short, but today even more so. We were awakened this morning at 2:00 with a call from mom's facility saying that she had taken another fall (16 and counting since December). Thankfully, she wasn't hurt and she's on a vitals monitoring program for the next 24 hours. We typically go visit her on Saturdays before church, but I wanted to go in this morning and just make sure all was well. We'll go again in a bit.
Jim did some back dragging on the area we cleaned up yesterday and it looks wonderful...
He also scraped up the gravel that he had put under our old brick stash - he'll use that in preparation for concrete in front of the shed later this fall.
He also got the excavator going and pulled out a few more striped maples behind the shed that he wanted gone. We'll have more chipping work to do!
