Jim ordered new batteries for both the generator and the 4Runner today and after lunch, we went out to pick them up. Installing the battery in the generator...

We have a green light so we are now good to go just in case we need it!
Jim put my car up on the lift to do a little maintenance work...
He has the parts to replace both the tie rods and the tie rod ends, but doing the tie rods would be a really big job. We are still on the bubble about keeping or replacing the car (I vote to keep it!), so Jim is waiting on the tie rods for now. But he's going to replace the tie rod ends this weekend. The new vs the old part...
He still has some tightening to do, but one side is done!
Got to have the right tools to do the job - this is a ball joint remover that Jim has probably had for 55 years! Still works!
