Happy October! Jim started the festivities by bringing down the Halloween decorations from the pole barn attic, so I'll get started on those.
Jim's last part for the chainsaw repair came in this afternoon, so Jim got it all put together and gave it a try - it worked! Plus it looks so clean and nice - an added bonus.
Then we headed up the hill - Jim put all the old plastic that was under the original brick location in the Bobcat bucket to be thrown away. Then we went over to where we put the old pallet and started breaking up the pieces to put in the trash...

There were a few bigger pieces of the pallet that Jim cut up with the chainsaw - and it worked great!
The pallet was in such bad shape that we knew the ground underneath would have its share of old nails, so Jim brought out the metal detector and we got those out. We certainly don't need tetanus!
Jim put the forks on the Bobcat and loaded up this pallet - we are going to use it stack the bricks from the collapsed cube...
Jim used his brick tongs to carry the bricks over to the pallet...
We had a good system going - I lined up the bricks and Jim moved them...
We got about half on the pallet - Jim didn't want to put any more on this one. Moving it over to our pile...
