I saw a sign at my mom's facility that September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. We are so grateful to not have waited longer for Jim to be checked and diagnosed.
Today marks 4 weeks since his surgery and he's been waiting for this day to begin to increase his activities! He spent the morning working on cleaning the door tracks and getting the cabinet put back together.
He went through all his oils, chemicals, cleaners and weeded out what he didn't want to keep and organized the rest...
Jim was finally allowed to cut the grass today! He even asked the doctor if he could do it earlier, but she stuck to four weeks, so he was good. Thankfully, while the grass was high and needed a second pass in places, it wasn't too bad because of the weather and time of the year. But it looks really good now, and Jim was thrilled to be able to get it cut!
