Jim started tearing into the car today.  While he has it up on the lift, he's going to replace quite a few other things besides the water pump.  It looks like it's going to be a bigger job than expected - he has to disconnect the entire exhaust system to get at the water pump.  But the car is over 10 years old and this is really the first thing besides preventive maintenance he's had to do.  Plus, I still really like my car!   

We had wood stacked up in the auto bay and it was kind of in the way of Jim working, plus he's going to be using it.  So he stacked some in the pole barn and took some up into the shop...

Mom had an appointment this afternoon, so we headed out after lunch.  The weather was supposed to be dry but there were a few sprinkles around and it looked a bit threatening.  Jim was only out about 2 hours but got 6 more cuts done on the back rafters!
