While gaining an hour is better than losing one in the spring, there is nothing good about time change day! It messes you up for a couple of days - and then there's changing all those clocks!
Besides changing clocks, Jim worked on smoke detectors this morning. He removed the one from the hallway...
Installed it in the stairwell because it's "smarter" than the one that was there...
He had to do some rewiring to get the new one installed but he got that done and tested it to make sure it's working.
Some more rearranging in the wood shop - this corner is much more functional now, with good storage...
Jim spent much of the afternoon working on drawer parts and pieces, getting them the right thickness and size...
At the end of the day - and practically in the dark! - he did a final cutting of the grass in the triangle. A lot of that was new grass and really took off - it's still glowing neon green.
