11.16.2021

There was hardly even a dusting but we're still calling it the first day of snow!  It was gone by 9:00 so it didn't last long but was a glimpse of what's ahead!

Jim was busy in the wood shop this morning, getting more wood ready for shelves and ledger boards...

Straightening the wood...

More pieces being glued...

Then it was on to more drawer finishing work - a coat of primer on the fronts...

Jim lightly sanded the first coat of polyurethane on the drawer assemblies and then applied the second coat...

Second coat of polyurethane done...

It was vehicle maintenance time later this afternoon - Jim brought the Bobcat into the auto bay.  He had bought a new battery for use this winter so time to install that.  There was lots of clean up work involved - the battery pan was really corroded.

Plus, there was a lot of corrosion on the connections which ended up causing Jim a lot more work than anticipated.  You can see the bolts just broke off...

Trying to get the bolts out.  He finally did and already ordered new bolts that we can hopefully get tomorrow morning.

He also drained the oil in the Tiger Cub to give it an oil change before storing it away.

High 40/Low 24 - first dusting of snow!
