Jim needed one more piece of conduit to complete his circuit run in the metal shop.  He used a piece of Schedule 40 pipe that he had temporarily but it's thicker and so there's less room inside for wires.  He checked online and our Home Depot said they had 2 pieces in the store.  As a backup, he called the electric supply company and they had it as well but it was twice as expensive.  Store inventories online are notoriously not 100% reliable, but Jim headed to Home Depot first.  And they had it!

Jim also went back up in the house attic today - he dragged down more boxes of dishes for me to go through - Christmas this time!  But he also took this opportunity to put loose insulation at the edges of the west wall, just filling in.  This was the one area he couldn't reach before because we had boxes there.  That job is all done now so we'll be even more warm and snug!

Afterwards, he started replaced the section of conduit and then went back to wiring.  This was a total struggle again trying to get these circuits through the conduit, especially around the elbows to get to the box.

He just couldn't push the wires through the conduit - he ended up coming up with a way to almost daisy chain the circuits together and then pull them through the elbow and into the box, by taping circuits together.  You can see he has loops hanging that he uses to attach and pull through.

By the time he stopped for the day, he had gotten 4 out of the 6 circuits through - yay!
