2.8.2019

Jim did some more work on the molder and found a few other issues.  You can see he has the motor off and things really torn apart.  Then he had to figure out exactly which parts he needed.  He called the company and ordered the parts he needs.  Even that was a bit complicated because you have to go through an intermediate company who then calls Shop Fox to see if the parts are available.

Then he was back to working in the metal shop installing the rest of the boxes and starting to run the wire...

Wire is all run and he has enough nail plates attached to hold the wire in place...

Starting to run conduit...

The last pieces were the hardest because Jim had to work on getting the right angles and curves put in the conduit to go from the straight run over to the box...

It was kind of ironic - Jim started the week on Monday by waiting for a Craigslist person to pick up the sawdust.  He ended the week waiting for a guy to come and buy a bumper he had for his old Toyota pickup.  The guy didn't come until about 6:30 but Jim said he was so polite and pleasant and, in fact, paid more than Jim was asking for the bumper because he didn't have change and said it was worth it to him!

We had rain last night and this morning - between that and the sunshine today, our driveway has lots of gravel exposed which is good going forward, especially since temperatures are dropping again.  We are under a strong wind advisory through tomorrow afternoon and it's really howling right now.
