4.2.2018

So I missed a milestone celebration.  On Friday, Jim had his 540th straight day of working at the property - that's 18 straight months without a day off!  Insane - this man needs a break!

First, a few pictures from painting yesterday...master bedroom...

And back living room wall...

Jim worked this morning in the control room - he put the bottom case around all of the water heater plumbing.  As you can imagine, it's a little complicated to fit and attach - Jim had to take apart some of the top case to attach the two together.  But it's definitely a good step - means things are getting finished!

One of the next steps is to figure out where and how to attach the acid neutralizer.  Because this is such a high efficiency furnace, it produces condensation which is acidic.  That water can't go through our septic system because it would kill all the good bacteria.  Hence the need for an acid neutralizer!

Jim also finished up the address sign - he put plexiglass over the private property sign and mounted it on our pole at the end of the driveway.  Picture to come!

Then mid-afternoon, Jim switched to painting, starting up again in the living room.

Starting on the front wall...

Working down the wall...

Starting on the side wall...

Living room is all done now!

After that, Jim went back to plastering in both the bathroom and laundry room before heading home.
